Red Bear Landscape Ltd has been involved in the strategic planning and preparation of concept designs for public & stakeholder consultations.
This project has been in the Trust’s pipeline for a number of years and we have been
able to help conceptualise and input into the brief with 2 and 3d drawings, designing both the New Pavilion, the New Compound Building and adaptations to the
surrounding heavily wooded landscape and Children’s Play Area and proposals to re-wild the existing site. We have been able to show stakeholders and members of the public who use the park and golf course our vision for the project. We have listened to their reactions and have demonstrated a plan for a more sustainable centre of operations, in this historically picturesque Repton inspired landscape. Taking into consideration the current income and funding cut challenges, the Trust aims to move positively forward and not only replace the 1950’s 'temporary' club house and compound facilities, but look towards taking the site and building and facilities provision forward to a create a more holistically sustainable future. In this, the 20th year of Warley Woods Community Trust, this ongoing project should allow the continuance of its successful governance and stewardship of Warley Woods, the People’s Park.
